Kylie Crisp

Kylie, who has taken on the challenging role of Manager at the PFI studio in the Perth CBD has an immense love for the technicality and discipline of Pilates. She has overcome many of her own physical limitations through Pilates, and these personal experiences have shaped her into a fantastic instructor and advocate of the method.

You will always know when Kylie is teaching as you can hear her from a several block radius - she is well known for her vocal resonance, and always rocks into the studio looking amazingly fresh, which we attribute to her love of healthy eating and fashion!

Nicola (Nikki) Amann Kirk

Nikki has been working in the Pilates industry since 2008 and previously worked as a swim school coordinator and teacher. She has a passion for teaching and encouraging people in fitness and is much loved for her kind and caring approach. She is a master at working and connecting  her own body and is the fittest 'all-rounder' we know.

Nikki also has a Bachelor of Health Science from Edith Cowan University under her belt and is a qualified Spin instructor.

Megan Gannaway

Megan has extensive experience in Dance, and spent many years teaching children's dance as well as performing herself before turning her hand to Pilates instruction. It was a natural progression for her, and now teaches full time for PFI where she is known for her flowing class style.

Megan is the secret party animal of PFI and loves a good dance at a Sunday session from time to time! For everyone's benefit we therefore promise not to roster her onto a Monday morning 6am class!

Phoebe Lee

Phoebe is a much loved character at PFI, known as the 'smiling assassin', a nickname affectionately coined by our clients. Phoebe arrived to her first Beginners class many years ago and announced without ever having tried it that she wanted to change her career and become a Pilates instructor! Now that's dedication!

As well as being a self-confessed KFC addict, Phoebe originally worked in finance (for those of you that know her, don't laugh too hard) and is known for her hard work ethic which she conveniently passes on to all our clients. She is an accomplished instructor and will always strive to help you gain the most from your classes.

Samantha (Sam) Olsen

Sam is an extraordinarily kind, caring person and Pilates instructor. Sam was working in hospitality management before the yearning for a healthier lifestyle turned her to Pilates and Pilates instruction. She is a natural teacher and has a way of making people feel comfortable in her presence. As well as her work with PFI, Sam has a strong interest in hair and make-up artistry and was even offered work on the television show '24'.

Sam is a well travelled instructor having lived in Vancouver, Canada for 5 years before returning to Perth and is an avid animal lover! Her home is completely ruled by her cute but bossy dogs, Beyonce and Harper.

Tania Biagioni

Tania is possibly the most organised individual on the planet and an extremely dedicated mother (the kind that always has the best school holiday entertainment up her sleeve!) to her three beautiful children Zoe, Rhys and Daniel. Tania has worked in the fitness industry for more than 8 years, originally as a group fitness instructor and then as a Pilates instructor for PFI.

You will always feel well cared for in Tania's classes and is known as the 'baby whisperer' as she has a gift for teaching the Post Natal + Babes classes, calming both mothers and babies!

Shane Troy

A fitness fanatic and talented Volleyball player, Shane has played in the state Volleyball team for a number of years now. He is the original Pilates sceptic and will be the first to tell you it took quite some time for him to be convinced to even try a class as he originally worked in Admin at our South Perth studio. Once in the studio, Shane became a hooked on Pilates and is now a well loved instructor.

Shane has a passion for achieving optimum performance and loves that Pilates has helped him achieve advancements in his own body and fitness. Shane has studied English literature at university, and is also a qualified Spin instructor. He is the master of making you laugh whilst performing the Hundreds exercise to get those abs working even harder!

Jelane Laverack

Jelane has a permanent smile on her face and always inspires everyone around her to feel positive about themselves - she literally has happiness seeping from her pores! Jelane is also a dedicated mother to her little girl and loves spending time with her friends and family.

Her teaching style is deceptive because she is so sweet and gentle - it's not until the next day you realise every one of your muscles has actually been worked extremely hard!

Gavin MacKenzie

Gavin is an energetic and enthusiastic member of the team and PFI's all round nice guy. He is also qualified in Spin instruction and as an allied health practitioner, Gavin has a holistic approach to health and fitness, which is incorporated into his classes with a focus on providing a well balanced workout.

Gavin instructs across all studios where he has a number of 'regulars' to his classes, and is one of those people who manages to fit a whole lot more into his week than the average individual!

Lynette Morley

In her previous life, Lynette spent 18 years as a Registered Nurse before leaving to have her two daughters. Lynette was drawn to the low impact nature of Pilates, and will honestly tell you that she was seeking a 'better looking butt!'. After spending 3 and a half years with PFI as a client, she found so many additional benefits including better circulation (it's all that breathing!), better posture, no more neck pain and great abdominal strength.

With this in mind, Lynette jumped at the chance to become an instructor!

Nadia Norrish

Nadia moved to Perth in 2009 after living and working in Kuwait as an outpatient Physiotherapist. While completing the process to become a registered Physiotherapist in Australia, she completed her Certificate IV in Pilates Instruction and has seen great results in a variety of patients from the use of basic Pilates principles within their Physiotherapy treatment - especially in those with lower back pain and women's health issues.

Nadia noticed a significant improvement in her own endurance, strength and core stability from her own Pilates practice which she could feel and see when playing soccer, aerobic exercise or running. She loves standing Pilates as it really works the entire body, improving balance and coordination, with the added benefit of improving bone density to prevent osteoporosis.

Anna Rolls

Anna teaches casually for PFI around her day job as an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor. Whilst working in the city, Anna attended PFI Corporate Pilates classes at the Woodside complex and seeking some relief from her corporate work decided to train as an instructor.

Teaching provides Anna with an escape, and gives her a chance to help people's bodies function better through through the physical benefits of Pilates.

Jennifer Cunningham

As an accomplished hairdresser and trainer, Jen started Pilates to address her own neck, shoulder and back issues that stem from years of 'hairdresser's posture'. She has had great results from her practice of Pilates and is a fantastic instructor as a result of that journey.

Jen has such a calm and sweet teaching style that you can't help but be lured in, however she is the Queen of the gruelling abdominal set. Jen continues her split career between hairdressing and Pilates and the PFI girls would be weeping without Jen's amazing scissor skills!

Renee Siljeg

Renee developed neck pain and RSI during her time as a Croupier that starting Pilates in 2010 has helped her overcome, as well as firming her post baby figure. As well as her kids and husband, health and fitness are high priorities in Renee's life and she loves the holistic approach, grace and flow of Pilates movements.

Renee tries to live by Anthony Robbins concept of "CAN I" ( constant and neverending improvement) in all areas of her life and is sure to apply this to your workout when she has you in class!

Meaghan Barnaby

Meaghan's first experience with Pilates came from reading about a few exercises while sitting in her bedroom in Pennsylvania many years ago. As a 'grown up' Meaghan struggled to find a type of exercise that she loved and could assist with a shoulder injury from years of swimming and softball. Pilates has not only helped with the shoulder injury, but with the rest of her as well and Meaghan loves the feeling of being part of a team in class.

Karina Acosta

Karina grew up in a Dance Academy and Gym studio in Argentina which gave her a great awareness of the importance of fitness as well as a gorgeous accent which may have you imagining yourself on an exotic island in class! At 4 years old Karina was already performing and by 13 had instructed her first gym class! After studying International Relations at University in Argentina, Karina and her husband came to Australia and had two adorable girls. Karina enjoys salsa dancing and baking but her real passion is Pilates!

Leah Aggebrink-Jones

Leah is our ray of sunshine- she is always so bubbly, though your smile may fade after the ab set in one of her classes (a good ouch, we promise)! Leah is an ex-gymnast and busy Mum who started Pilates at PFI to strengthen her core after injuring her back. Leah loves the improvements she has noticed in her flexibility and strength as well of the peace and sense of wellbeing Pilates gives her after just one class!  Leah loves spending time with her family and taking her black labrador to the beach.

Taryn Wickham

Taryn first discovered Pilates when she moved to London in 2007 and began doing Reformer classes. Her love for Pilates started in her very first class which was coincidentally instructed by a Calvin Klein underwear model! Since moving back to Perth, Taryn works in a demanding corporate role in the city and loves the balance that Pilates brings to her life. Taryn's favourite thing about working at PFI is seeing how regular Pilates improves the health and well being of others. She also loves that Pilates has noticably changed her body shape and has grown about 2 inches taller since starting classes! Taryn is trying to live a more eco friendly lifestyle by growing her own fruit and vegetables at home, keeping chickens and cooking from wholefoods!

Bec Daglan

Originally from Leeds, Bec moved to Australia four years ago after travelling the world for a year when she fell in love with the people and the beautiful beaches of Perth. She loves Pilates because of how flexible it makes her feel when the high impact aerobics and bootcamps she loves so much gives her tight, sore muscles, Pilates balances this out and keeps Bec toned without being bulky.Bec has previously worked as an IT Account Manager for 8 years and as a Personal trainer since moving to Australia. Bec loves spicy food, her puppy Rollie and the occasional glass of wine!
