Frances Cahill

Frances is one of the Directors of the Pilates Fitness Institute of WA. She has achieved a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and Postgraduate Diploma of Dietetics from Curtin University. Frances completed her original Pilates training through the Pilates Institute of Australasia and has since enjoyed many years of industry experience through Pilates instruction for groups, individuals and in corporate settings in many different Pilates specialties. As part of her growing Pilates business, Frances also conducts in house instructor grooming after instructors have completed their initial Pilates qualifications as part of the strict quality control ethos of the Pilates Fitness Institute of WA. Frances and also holds her Certificate V in Training and Assessment.

Suzanne Newby

Suzanne is the other Director of the Pilates Fitness Institute of WA. Suzanne has many years of experience in the dance, fitness and Pilates industries. When she lived in the UK, Suzanne worked as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor for many years before moving back to Perth to branch out into Pilates. Suzanne received her Pilates training through the Pilates Institute of Australasia and since then has broadened her experience in private, group and corporate Pilates instruction. Suzanne works alongside Frances on a strong quality control focus within PFIWA which includes delivery of in house training to ensure the instructors remain teaching at the highest standard. Suzanne also holds her Certificate V in Training and Assessment.

Kirsten Ball

Kirsten Ball is the head instructor trainer at the Pilates Fitness Institute of WA. She has enjoyed a long Pilates career which has taken her all over the world as an in demand Pilates technician. Kirsten received her original Pilates training through the Pilates Institute of Australasia and since then has participated in a variety of continuing education opportunities. Kirsten believes in strong technical Pilates foundations and has a love for the human body and functional anatomy. She is now passionate about helping to empower instructors in training with the best knowledge and skills for excellence.
