If you are brand new to Pilates or require more personalised attention, for example in pregnancy or for rehabilitation, you may like to consider Studio Pilates to get the most out of your Pilates journey.

  • MATWORK PILATES.

Matwork Pilates uses body weight, props and gravity for resistance is flowing and continuous, is creative, fun and feels amazing and allows you to move in all directions.

The heart of the Pilates method: matwork uses body weight and small props to create challenge that is scalable for every body. A dynamic, full body workout, matwork invites creativity and affords freedom in movement and flow.

  • REFORMER PILATES.

Reformer Pilates is a piece of original Pilates apparatus, uses springs and pulleys to create variable resistance, is a supportive and highly effective way to exercise, is challenging and a therapeutic movement.

Feedback from the apparatus reinforces technique and challenges stability, while the manipulation of resistance creates work in big and small muscle groups alike, culminating in powerful, whole-body conditioning. Similarly to Matwork, all exercises on the Reformer are scalable, making this a truly versatile format.

  • PILATES CHAIR.

The Pilates Chair (A.K.A Wunda Chair or Exo Chair) is a piece of original Pilates apparatus. Its design offers a limitless and efficient full body workout that will challenge you in a completely unique way.

Although widely considered to be the most challenging of the Pilates apparatus, our Pilates chair classes are suitable for every level of strength and conditioning. The work on the Chair most closely resembles and remedies the physical demands of our every day activities.

  • PILATES ARC.

The Pilates Arc is a contemporary apparatus based on the design of the original Pilates Spine Corrector. It’s gentle curves deliver a deceptively challenging whole body release and workout!

Like no other piece of Pilates apparatus, the ranges of movement that you will explore on the Arc feel deeply lengthening and strengthening but with corrective support the whole time. It’s the ultimate challenge!

You’ll also use ankle and wrist weights and a whole array of small props too so that no one Arc class is ever the same as the last. Our Pilates Arc classes are suitable for every level of strength and conditioning.

  • PREGNANCY.

Pregnancy Pilates helps you to feel strong, connected and released during every stage of your journey.

PFI is a specialist provider of pregnancy Pilates: our Instructors are highly experienced in working with pregnant clients.

Our dedicated pregnancy classes deliver safe Pilates repertoire that is also targeted, challenging, and scalable to your physical needs: on the Mat, on the Reformer and at the Barre.

  • BARRE ATTACK.

Barre is sweaty and fun, is a fusion of dance, Pilates and functional fitness, is low impact cardio with awesome tunes and will make you long and lean.

A dynamic fusion of Pilates, Ballet and functional fitness, Barre is the perfect cardio complement to your Pilates training mix. No dance or Pilates experience is required to participate!
