Pregnancy Reformer Pilates is designed to help you feel strong, supported and connected to your changing body throughout every stage of pregnancy.
Using the Reformer, our classes focus on strength, posture, mobility, breathing, pelvic stability, and overall comfort, with exercises thoughtfully adapted to support the physical demands of pregnancy.
At Pilates Fitness Institute, our instructors are highly experienced in working with pregnant clients and provide expert guidance in a supportive group environment. Rather than simply modifying a standard class, our Pregnancy Reformer sessions are specifically programmed for pregnant bodies, offering movement that is safe, effective, and appropriately challenging.
Pregnancy Apparatus
Pregnancy Apparatus Pilates offers a supportive and varied movement experience using specialised Pilates equipment including the Pilates Chair, Arc, Matwork and small apparatus.
These classes are designed to support the changing needs of your body throughout pregnancy, with exercises focused on strength, posture, mobility, breathing, pelvic stability and overall comfort. The use of different apparatus allows for thoughtful movement variations and supportive positioning as your pregnancy progresses.

If you are experiencing significant discomfort, have specific concerns, or would prefer more personalised support, private Studio Pilates sessions may also be recommended.

For most pregnancies, Pilates can be a safe and highly beneficial form of movement when guided appropriately. At PFI, our Pregnancy Pilates classes are specifically designed for pregnant bodies and are taught by instructors experienced in working with prenatal clients. These are suited to all trimesters.
As every pregnancy is different, we always recommend discussing exercise with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns or pregnancy-related complications.
