Pregnancy Pilates

Pregnancy is a time of profound physical change, and Pilates offers a safe, intelligent way to support your body through each stage. Using the full range of Pilates Method equipment including Matwork, Reformer, Chair and Arc — our low-impact, controlled movements are thoughtfully tailored to meet the evolving needs of pregnancy, building deep strength, mobility and postural support.

Through consistent, guided practice, you’ll develop greater body awareness and functional strength while helping to manage common pregnancy-related discomforts such as back pain and pelvic instability. Our approach supports optimal alignment and efficient movement patterns, helping you feel more prepared for labour and setting a strong foundation for postnatal recovery.

Breathwork is an integral part of the Pilates method, encouraging effective pelvic floor function while promoting relaxation, confidence and a sense of calm as your body adapts and grows.

Group Pregnancy Classes

Pregnancy Pilates at PFI is designed to help you feel strong, connected and supported through every stage of your pregnancy. As a specialist provider of pregnancy Pilates, our highly experienced instructors deliver safe, intelligent and adaptable movement across a range of pregnancy-specific group classes. You can choose from Reformer classes, creative Pregnancy Apparatus classes using equipment such as the Arc, Chair and Fitball, or our pregnancy-safe Barre classes. Each 50-minute class is thoughtfully structured to be challenging yet supportive, suitable for all trimesters, and scalable to meet your individual needs — whether you’re new to Pilates or continuing an established practice.

Private and Small Group Pregnancy Studio Appointments

Pregnancy Studio Pilates at PFI provides personalised, expert-led care through private or small group appointments. Using the full range of Pilates equipment including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, Matwork and small props. Each session is tailored to your body, needs and stage of pregnancy.

You’ll begin with a comprehensive assessment, followed by individually designed Pilates programs delivered under close guidance and supervision. Studio appointments are ideal if you’re managing pregnancy-related pain or complications or if you’re seeking more specific, individualised support.

The best way to start is with our Pregnancy Pilates Studio Introductory Pass, including a 90-minute Advanced Assessment and two 60-minute private studio sessions for $284.


Postnatal Pilates

Postnatal Pilates at PFI is designed to support your recovery after birth, helping you rebuild strength, restore connection to your body and move with confidence as you navigate early motherhood and beyond. With expert guidance and a deep understanding of postnatal changes, our classes focus on core and pelvic floor rehabilitation, postural support, and functional strength to meet the demands of everyday life with a new baby.

Through intelligent, progressive movement, Postnatal Pilates can assist in improving abdominal strength, reducing back and pelvic pain, supporting scar and tissue recovery, and enhancing overall mobility and stability. Our approach is safe, supportive and adaptable — empowering you to recover well, feel strong again, and return to movement with confidence.

Mums and Bubs Group Classes

Our Mums & Bubs Pilates classes run once per week on Tuesdays at 10:30am and are designed to support your postnatal recovery while allowing you to move, reconnect and rebuild strength with your baby by your side. In a welcoming small-group setting, you’ll focus on deep core connection, pelvic floor support, posture and breath using a variety of Pilates equipment including the Mat, Chair, Arc and small apparatus. Led by instructors with specialised postnatal training, these classes provide expert guidance, gentle progression and a supportive community.

Private and Small Group Postnatal Pilates Appointments

Postnatal Studio Pilates at PFI offers personalised, expert-led care through private or small group appointments. Using the full range of Pilates equipment iincluding Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, Matwork and small props — each session is tailored to your postnatal body, recovery stage, and individual needs.

You’ll begin with a comprehensive assessment, including a health and movement review, followed by a personalised Pilates program delivered under close guidance and supervision. Studio appointments are ideal if you’re managing postnatal pain, recovering from a C-section, experiencing pelvic floor or core challenges, or seeking highly individualised support to regain strength and confidence.
